E-wallpaper above was my designed outcome by using Adobe Photoshop. Basically, I have taken few pictures about Faculty of Management (FOM) as references. Nevertheless, combination pictures and text were used to attract audience's sight in order to promoting information. So, let's checked out how were the processes while creating e-wallpaper step by step.
Step 1:
File > New.Create an A4 sized document.Set the resolution to 72 pixels/inch. Width: 297mm and height: 210mm (landscape)
Step 2:
Add selected photo as background that taken by myself. Somehow, the quality of the photo was not nice as my expectation. Then I used to adjusted the brightness and contrast of the photo to make it look more nicer.
Step 3:
The main point is to attract audience know about the FOM Open Day. Therefore, I tried to make it simple and less words in order to attract their attention easily.
Step 4:
Because of just several words, I needed enhance the style of words and focus. Below were the skills have been used during editing the words:
- Drop Shadow
- Inner Shadow
- Outer Glow
- Inner Glow
- Style and so on so forth
Step 5:
I decided put my seniors' graduation picture inside to indicate that they were succeed in university life and looking for future.
Step 6:
Anyway, the moment of throwing the 'square cap' was the main point. So that I used eraser tools to remove the unwanted background and then replaced it by my own background.
Step 7:
Last step, place MMU logo from internet into e-wallpaper. To remove the white background within the logo, magic wand tool was applied around the logo, after that used eraser tool removed those unwanted layer.
Of course, MMU's logo never been neglected in this poster. It was an important part and represented Multimedia University.
Well, finally I had done the e-wallpaper. =))
